La Casa – Antigua Villas

La Casa is an Italian-style villa, set on three acres of beautifully maintained lawns and gardens. It is located on a breathtaking white sand beach at Pasture Bay. Just steps from the beach are the property’s swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The spacious pool deck is filled with wrought iron lounges and gorgeous flowering plants and vines. Have a swim or relax under an umbrella and make use of the poolside bar. Adjacent to the pool is the private croquet lawn, and the property also boasts a flood-lit tennis court and gym for those who like to stay active.

Features and Amenities

Behind the pool are covered terraces with graceful archways and beamed ceilings. They provide sheltered outdoor living and dining areas; their furnishings and decorative touches give them the feel of real rooms. Guests can also enjoy drinks or a meal on a furnished outdoor wooden beach deck with its own dining gazebo, located just steps from the tranquil waters of the Caribbean. Inside the house, just behind the front terrace, is a drawing room. Adjacent to the drawing room is the dining room, and behind that, a modern, fully equipped kitchen. There is also a library, with vaulted wood ceiling,  offering comfortable couches, movies and cable television.

The Master bedroom, located on the second floor, is charmingly decorated with a chaise lounge and arm chairs. It has an en suite bathroom with claw-foot soaking tub and a king size canopy bed. This suite opens onto a furnished private balcony that overlooks the pool and beach. There are two additional bedrooms with queen size beds and ensuite bathrooms. Perfect for larger groups, La Casa has three separate guest cottages on the three acre property. They are private, beautifully furnished, and the one beside the pool has a separate sitting room. Guests at La Casa enjoy full resort privileges including housekeeping and access to the Jumby Bay restaurants, spa and swimming pools.

Location

The Caribbean has long been a draw to travellers from around the world who seek seclusion, sun, sand, and relaxation. Away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, the cold winters, and the fast pace of Western life as we know it today, those who want to get away from it all head to the Caribbean. Antigua is the ultimate Caribbean paradise having been discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493 and once a British Colony. Nestled into a secluded cove in St. John’s Antigua, Blue Waters is an intimate British-Colonial style boutique resort with 17 acres of lush tropical gardens designed as the perfect island retreat.

V.C. Bird International Airport, located on the northeast corner of Antigua, is the point of entry for visitors arriving by air to Antigua & Barbuda. There are both direct flights and connections from North America via San Juan and St. Martin and several weekly flights from Europe. Scheduled and charter service is available to many of the neighboring islands.
