Temenos Villas is a luxury villa condominium property located on the island of Anguilla. The property is a division of Starwood resorts. Perched on a bluff overlooking the radiant white sands and clear turquoise waters of Long Bay, all three award-winning, breezy villas afford guests breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding islands. Be one of the first to take a swing at the world class Temenos Golf Club designed by Australia’s Great White Shark – Greg Norman. Partake in ideal snorkeling just steps off our beach. Australia’s Great White Shark, Greg Norman raised the bar when he designed Temenos Golf Club. Incorporating environmental elements of Anguilla’s magnificent setting, Temenos Golf Club undeniably takes the art of the game to the next level. Quickly becoming the Caribbean’s most exclusive and sought-after golfing destination, Temenos Golf Club offers a links course of 7,100 yards with 14 unparalleled sea view holes, and a 10th hole that redefines drama. With its meandering ecologically-based watering system of lagoons and ponds, and vistas of St. Maarten and the Caribbean Sea, this course promises to inspire both the novice and the professional.
Location
Understated and unspoiled, Anguilla offers laid-back elegance and complete privacy on deserted stretches of powder-soft white sand. A British protectorate, the island is a mere 16 miles long and three miles wide, with 33 beach hideaways carved into captivating coral coves. Anguilla’s unusual reef marine system was created when seven freighters were purposely sunk to form manmade reefs. Because of the very shallow sites (all are between 35 and 110 feet deep) and near lack of underwater currents, it is a very safe place to dive and an ideal spot to see a variety of colorful underwater wildlife.
Popular activities on Anguilla include visiting numerous small art exhibits & galleries for a taste of local and international culture, exploring exclusive small cays for snorkeling, swimming and picnicking, renting boats on most beaches for racing (Anguilla’s national sport), fishing, or a trip to St. Barth or St. Maarten. Wade into a whole new world while diving near Anguilla’s unique artificial reef — Anguilla is a wonderful place for a beginner diver.
Visitors can fly directly into Anguilla’s Wallblake Airport via private plane, or into St. Maarten via commercial airlines. Arrive in Anguilla from Antigua in 45 minutes or from San Juan in one hour. Guests can take a private 20 minute boat charter from St. Maarten (adjacent to the St. Maarten airport) into Blowing Point on Anguilla.
